  • Firefly Community Hoops Program (League)

This program operates once a week featuring three games played in one-hour blocks, with ongoing basketball instruction woven throughout the program's duration. The primary objective of the Firefly Community Hoops Program is to cultivate a safe and inclusive environment that fosters positive relationships among participants, enhances their self-confidence, and fortifies their basketball skills on the court. By combining athletic development with character building, this program empowers young individuals to thrive both on and off the basketball court, instilling valuable life skills that will endure beyond their participation in the program.

  • Fall/Winter League

    Embrace the spirit of the season with the Fall/Winter League, a transformative 6-week program thoughtfully designed to instill fundamental basketball concepts and principles, while simultaneously nurturing physical and emotional development. Welcoming boys and girls aged 5+ in Kingston, NY, and Troy, NY, this league serves as a conduit to foster self-confidence, teamwork, and the strengthening of basketball skills within a secure and inclusive environment. This League endeavors to create a safe and welcoming space where participants can thrive, unlocking their full potential on and off the court.     The Tay Fisher Community Cornerstone Summer League is an outdoor transformative 6-week program carefully crafted to impart fundamental basketball concepts and principles, while concurrently nurturing physical and emotional development. Open to boys and girls aged 8-13 in Kingston, NY, and Troy, NY, this league serves as a platform to foster a harmonious blend of enjoyment and healthy competition within a secure and inclusive environment. The program endeavors to create an atmosphere where participants can flourish, embracing the joy of the game while developing essential life skills. By promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth, the Tay Fisher Community Cornerstone Summer League not only cultivates basketball proficiency but also encourages overall well-being and character building.

    The Father/Child Clinic is a special one-day basketball program that creates a bonding experience between fathers or mentors and their children, as they come together in a vibrant and instructive basketball environment. This unique clinic is meticulously designed to not only enhance basketball skills but also strengthen the relationship between children and their caregivers. Through engaging activities and shared moments on the court, the program aims to foster a deeper understanding of generational differences and promote open communication. By immersing themselves in this fun and meaningful experience, fathers or mentors and their children can forge stronger connections while developing a mutual appreciation for one another. The Father/Child Clinic is a precious opportunity to nurture relationships and create lasting memories on and off the basketball court.

  • Fight 4 The Cure Breast Cancer Event

    The Tay Fisher Community Cornerstone Fight 4 the Cure Charity Basketball Game goes beyond entertainment; it offers a transformative opportunity to impact the lives of individuals affected by breast cancer. Together, we unite with a shared purpose: to raise awareness and vital funds for breast cancer patients and survivors in the Hudson Valley, NY area through the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation. This annual event brings the community together to honor the strength and resilience of those battling this disease. Led by Tay Fisher, a former Harlem Globetrotter and beloved member of the Hudson Valley and Capital Region communities, it unites local players, coaches, and compassionate breast cancer advocates in a powerful display of solidarity. It is a gathering that recognizes the courage of those still fighting, celebrates the triumph of survivors, and offers support to their families. With exciting games, delicious food, and the possibility of incredible prizes generously donated by local businesses, this day is filled with heartfelt meaning and a chance to make a lasting difference.

  • Back to School Clinic

    The Tay Fisher Community Cornerstone Back To School Clinic is a wonderful one-day event created with the aim of helping students prepare for the upcoming school year in a lively and engaging way. This event offers a range of activities including basketball clinics, fun games, creative crafts, delicious food, and backpacks filled with essential school supplies. Participants will have the opportunity to learn basketball skills from experienced coaches, enjoy friendly games and competitions, and explore their creativity through educational crafts. In addition, children will be provided with nourishing food and snacks, as well as backpacks containing all the necessary supplies for a successful school journey. This program not only provides a chance for children to socialize and make new friends, but also ensures that parents have the resources to support their children as they begin the school year.

  • Christmas Clinic

    In the spirit of joy and merriment, we invite you to partake in the enchanting Christmas Clinic! This delightful one-day basketball skills clinic is designed to nurture the young bodies, hearts, and minds of children ages 5-7. Within a supportive and festive environment, participants will enhance their basketball skills, foster camaraderie, and uncover their leadership potential. Embracing the essence of the season, this joy-filled gathering aims to bring happiness and skill development to children in our community, regardless of their socio-economic background. It is a celebration of inclusivity, where the true spirit of the season shines through as we come together to uplift and empower the next generation.
